| The size of the knob on the scrollbar is inversely proportional to the total size of the contents to scroll through. This is a problem for long lists, as the knob becomes uncomfortably small to use (Fitts' law and all that).
An ability to set a minimum size would be good.
Note that there is code in Fl_Scrollbar.cxx (and maybe other places) which assumes slider_size has the value set by Fl_Slider::scrollvalue(), and that code won't work properly when the slider_size has a different value. An example is the handling of Page_Up and Page_Down keys, and clicking in the blank space above or below the knob. | |
