If C++ exceptions are not used in FLTK, they can be switched off in IDE files (size of output file will be decreased).

I don't think FLTK uses exception handling internally.

It does appear to be inhibited in the various command line builds - I am not at all familiar with the IDE build systems however (never use them) and I confess I am surprised that exception handling is not inhibited there too, at least fro the fltk lib builds.

Rechecked this issue on several configs, not reproduced now.
So maybe problem was in compiler tools which frequently updated.

@OP: you wrote you couldn't reproduce it. Can we close this STR?

This STR has not been updated by the submitter for two or more weeks and has been closed as required by the FLTK Configuration Management Plan. If the issue still requires resolution, please re-submit a new STR.


Problem may be resolved? OP reports that the fault can not be reproduced now.
